Sarangkot Paragliding offer you the opportunity to not only fly like a bird in the skies over breathtaking Nepal, but the once in a lifetime experience of flying with a trained Pilot   as your guide.  You will  fly  , finding and marking  soar and glide over lakes and fields, the stunning Himalayas in the background.

Sarangkot Paragliding are the only paragliding company operating in Nepal, with their head office in Pokhara, a beautiful lakeside town 150km west of Kathmandu, the capital of the mountain kingdom.

, You will be taken by jeep to the launch site at Sarangkot from where you can see three of the highest mountains in the world, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Manasulu, all over 8000m.

You will then be fitted into your harness and attached to a fully qualified tandem pilot who will then launch off into the sky with a trained Pilot. Your  Pilot will guide you to the thermals and you will reward him by calling him to your fist during your parahawking flight.

Along the way it is not unusual to encounter wild birds of prey, including the huge Himalayan Griffon Vulture, Egyptian Vultures, Golden Eagles, many species of falcon and numerous kites, who will join you in your flight.

Tandem  flights cost US$100  and two longer courses are also available.
